Get ASN info

/addresses/asns/{asn}/

ASN enrichment record sourced from RIPE STAT (cached in
db.asns) plus live probe counts aggregated from db.probes.

Pass ?update=true to force a re-fetch from RIPE STAT — probe
counts always recompute regardless.

Also merges a small peeringdb summary onto the response when
the AS is present in the local PeeringDB cache — IXP-count,
facility-count, and a name + type so the lookup view can link to
the full PeeringDB profile without re-fetching.

One-call 'who is this network' composition: ASN overview +
PeeringDB presence (IXPs / facilities) + APNIC user population (latest

• series) + anycast-prefix counts + RIPE Atlas footprint. Warms the
  db.asns cache first (refresh-if-missing) so a cold AS still
  returns a populated dossier.

Get IP address or prefix info

/addresses/ips/{ip}/

IP / CIDR-prefix enrichment record fanned out across RIPE STAT,
IPmap, and IPlocate (cached in db.ips) plus a live list of any
RIPE Atlas probes registered at this address. Accepts both bare
addresses and prefixes (RIPE STAT's resource takes either).

Pass ?refresh=true to force a re-fetch from every upstream —
the probe list always recomputes regardless.

Also merges a small peeringdb summary onto the response when
the IP is either a PeeringDB-known peer address (exact-IP match
against netixlan) or sits inside a PeeringDB-known IXP LAN
prefix. Skipped for CIDR resources (only single addresses can
match a peer or LAN entry meaningfully).
